It was actually the very day that I moved my new press into the Funhouse that I got a call from one of the designers from Hometown to see if I would be interested in working on a project. With them. Since the entire show has been all about our little town of Laurel, Mississippi
I was really excited to be a part of the program. I had no idea at the time what a challenge it was going to be to make the Woodcut that they needed. It was much more detailed than my normal work and there wasn’t a lot of room for error. Plus the time frame required me to work at an even faster than normal pace. It was really cool to have the crew come into the Funhouse and for me to get a behind the scenes look at how a show such as this goes down! It was also really cool to be able to help install the wallpaper for the backsplash we made with the prints.
