Skating has been a very important part of my life ever since I was 15 and moved near Virginia Beach ,Virginia- the home of Mount Trashmore and it’s legendary skateboard history. 35 years later I’m finally getting a chance to make skateboards and work with some of my childhood heros! It was through my first printmaking workshop that I taught at Hurley that I met Paul Schmitt and after that the magic started happening! I’m in the middle of a project with Paul right now that is going to have me producing over 60 unique skate decks that will all start off with my woodcuts being printed directly onto the maple veneers using my etching press! It a very special opportunity to do this and I can’t tell you how excited I am.In the meantime here’s some of the other skate stuff I’ve done”
